O’Neal seniors, Danielle Bradshaw and Alex Zhang have progressed from Semifinalist to Finalist in the run for a National Merit Scholarship. Based on Preliminary SAT (PSAT) scores in the eleventh grade, Bradshaw and Zhang were part of the 16,000 National Merit Semifinalists chosen from a pool of 1.5 million entrants nationwide. Now as part of the group of 15,000 Finalists, they will hear in the spring the 8200 Finalists who have been awarded a $2500 scholarship.
