O’Neal community and visitors… Welcome!
The O’Neal School is celebrating its 36th year of operation as the only PK-12 independent college preparatory day school in the Sandhills. As such, we continue to grow in both numbers and student accomplishment. O’Neal emphasizes a traditional program of academics, athletics, extra-curricular activities, community service, and special events for educating the whole child. As a national visitation site and a Core Knowledge School, O’Neal students enjoy a wealth of enrichment activities and a good deal of just plain fun. Each year, all members of our graduating class are accepted into outstanding colleges and universities across the nation.
This year excitement fills our campus as completion of our new Lower School building nears and construction of our new student Activities Center is soon to begin. Completion of this final phase of the campus master plan is part of the “Complete the Vision” capital campaign, currently underway.
In another initiative, our Board of Trustees has updated The O’Neal School strategic plan. You are encouraged to review this plan and understand the goals and objectives that have been set forth for the coming years.
The strong participation, support and teamwork from parents, students, faculty, staff and alumni make The O’Neal School a wonderful place to grow and learn.
