Auction Underwriting Program

The O’Neal School serves a five-county radius drawing students from Moore, Lee, Scotland, Richmond, and Montgomery Counties. The draw of families from different areas to one institution is far-reaching. The families coming to O’Neal help surrounding businesses gain more revenue because parents and friends from these counties shop, enjoy entertainment and dine in the surrounding area.  All large communities such as ours, needs and deserves a quality independent school to give local families a choice in education for their children.

The Business Alliance program is designed for those businesses or parents who wish to underwrite some of the costs of the O'Neal Annual Auction, held in February each year.  These tax-deductible donations help to cover a portion of the substantial expenses, such as catering, invitations and postage, facility rental, auctioneer services, supplies and advertising that are incurred to host a gala event.  With the monetary donations from the Business Alliance program to supplement expenses, more "net revenue" is generated for the school's operating budget.  The funds raised from the Annual Auction help to cover the things that make O'Neal great.

 

There are three levels of sponsorship (Platinum, Gold and Silver).  Tickets to the Auction, yearbook ads, online Auction catalog ads, event signage, recognition in Bradshaw Hall for a full year and complimentary $10,000 Cash Raffle tickets are given in exchange for your financial support.

 

Platinum

 A tax-deductible gift of $5,000 entitles the individual or business to eight tickets to the Annual Auction, a full page ad in the yearbook and in the online Auction catalog and special signage at the Auction as an underwriter at the Platinum Level. The donor also receives special recognition at the Platinum Level for the year in the atrium of Bradshaw Hall and two complimentary tickets for the $10,000 Cash Raffle.

Gold

A tax-deductible gift of $2,500 entitles the individual or business to four tickets to the Annual Auction, a half page ad in the yearbook and in the online Auction catalog and special signage at the Auction as an underwriter at the Gold Level. The donor also receives special recognition at the Gold Level for the year in the atrium of Bradshaw Hall and one complimentary ticket for the $10,000 Cash Raffle.

Silver

A tax-deductible gift of $1,000 entitles the individual or business to two tickets to the Annual Auction, a business card size ad in the yearbook and in the online Auction catalog and special signage at the Auction as an underwriter at the Silver Level. The donor also receives special recognition at the Silver Level for the year in the atrium of Bradshaw Hall.
