O'Neal Art Teachers Contribute to "Reading Rocks"

Come to Reading Rocks – a silent auction of more than 50 uniquely painted rocking chairs by area artists hosted by the Moore County Literacy Council. All three of O’Neal’s art teachers have contributed a rocking chair along with the book that inspired their theme.

In addition, Mrs. Amato’s rocking chair, “Let’s Read” will also have a gift certificate for one week of Falcon Day Camp/Explorers as part of the package.

The event will take place at the Fair Barn on Thursday, August 25th starting at 6pm. Elliott’s on Linden will be serving hors d’oeuvres and beer and wine will be served.  Tickets are $75 and tables of 8 are available for $500.  All proceeds go to the Moore County Literacy Council.
