May 1st was national college decision day when graduating high school seniors decide which college or university they will attend in the fall. Near the start of my career, I was a college counselor in New York City and would routinely meet with perspective Kindergarten families trying to make the “right” choice by looking at the school’s college profile and meeting me. So for many families, decision day is the culmination of 13 years of effort.
O'Neal held its 4th annual all school convocation to end the first week of school. Its purpose is to revisit the School's mission statement and philosophy and set the path of success for the school year going forward.
