The arts curriculum at O’Neal is designed to cultivate appreciation for the arts as well as to benefit from such creative aspects of learning; and for some, it provides a solid foundation to grow from as they choose a life in the arts.
From visual arts to the performing arts, including chorus, drama, and music, students ranging from pre kindergarten to twelfth grade are enriched under the instruction of highly qualified artists in their own right.
O’Neal’s facilities include two spacious art studios that share a clay room to turn pottery as well as a kiln. The School’s new activities center houses a 250-seat theater flanked by four classrooms designed to conduct music and drama classes.
The O’Neal Arts Guild has recently been formed to allow parents and friends of the School support the arts program in various capacities.
