Those seventh and eighth graders interested in varsity sports may tryout. Student-athletes who do not succeed in earning a varsity roster position will have the opportunity to participate on Middle School teams.

Eighth grade students are encouraged to make up JV teams. Those who do not make the JV will be allowed to tryout for MS sports when school starts.

Eighth grade students who wish to tryout for our Varsity teams,must be major contributing players to participate and will be discussed on an individual basis.

NCISAA By-Laws only permit full time students in grades 7-12 to compete in State Competitions.

Middle School

Conference: Southeastern Middle School Athletic Conference (SEMSAC)

Member Schools: Berean Baptist, Fayetteville Academy, Fayetteville Christian School, Freedom Christian School, Liberty, Northwood Temple Academy, Saint John Paul II, St. Patrick’s School, The O’Neal School, Village Christian School, Sandhills Classical Christian School and Cape Fear Christian School.

Conference Sports: Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer, Girls’ Volleyball, Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball, Baseball

Eligibility: Full time students grades six through eight are eligible to tryout for teams.

Junior Varsity

Conference: Triangle Triad Conference (TRI-TAC)
Member Schools: The O'Neal School, Carolina Friends School, Trinity Academy, Trinity School of Durham, Burlington Christian Academy, Salem Baptist Christian School and American Hebrew Academy.
Eligibility: Full time students, grades seven through 12.
