Numerous O’Neal students have traveled to Vigo, Spain for independent study opportunities. Summer and exchange trips involving attending school and home stays are also underway. Students from Spain have also attended O’Neal for year-long stays.
This summer O'Neal Upper School student, Alex Dymond, and Middle School student Reed Taws hosted two Spanish students for a month. International friendships are treasures and these four students quickly become pals. Juan and Alberto came to North Carolina from northwestern Spain, A Coruña. They enjoyed a true southern summer full of sweet tea, pools, golf, lakes, and trips to the beach.
