Lu Yang

Lu is from Beijing and is in her second year here at O’Neal. As a member of the class of 2017, she plans to graduate from O’Neal with hopes of being able to enroll in the National University of Singapore to study biology or biochemistry. Her host parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Bullock.

Lu runs on O’Neal’s varsity track team, sings in the chorus, and is a member of the O’Neal Volunteers Organization as well as O’Neal for St. Joseph’s Club. When Lu is not at O’Neal, she likes to hang out with friends. She misses the food the most back home. The biggest difference she sees between here and home is that one doesn’t see a lot of people here where her school at home had 2000 people attending.
