Chloe Hoffman Signs with Nova Southeastern University
Surrounded by friends and family, O’Neal senior Chloe Hoffman has officially committed to Nova Southeastern University to play for the Sharks’ women’s soccer team.
Hoffman, a two sport athlete at The O’Neal School, has been a three year starter for the Falcons varsity girls’ soccer team and has also been a member of The O’Neal School’s State Championship winning swim team in 2015. Outside of O’Neal, Hoffman has played with Triangle United Soccer Association, out of Chapel Hill, NC for four years and was also a member of the North Carolina ODP select team from 2011 to 2013.
“Chloe is a real steal for Nova,” exclaims, O’Neal Athletic Director James Franklin. “Chloe has the talent to be a super division II soccer player and we are excited she will get the chance to play for Nova, in one of the best conferences in the country.”
Nova Southeastern University is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL and is a NCAA Division II affiliate and competes in the Sunshine State Conference. The NSU Shark’s women’s soccer team, had a breakthrough season in 2015, reaching the first round of the NCAA Tournament and finished with a 12-4-2 record. With plans to study behavioral neuroscience, Hoffman has earned a Deans Academic scholarship and a Razors Edge Global leadership award from Nova.
