Talbert '13 named to Big South All-Academic Team

Jacob Talbert ’13, a junior at Campbell University and member of the Fighting Camels Men’s Basketball Team, has been named to the all-academic team for the Big South Conference.

As a senior at O’Neal, Jacob Talbert became the School’s leading career scorer after beating then conference opponent, Fayetteville Christian, in January 2013 with a total of 1,209 points. He scored 27 points and 10 rebounds that game.

Before he finished his high school career, Jacob was a four-time all-conference player setting the school career scoring record at 1386 points. The Falcons won the CFIC conference championship in 2013 and Jacob was named conference tournament MVP.
