O'Neal Wins First Place in Local Art Show

O’Neal won first place in the first ever Sandhills Horticultural Society Children’s Art Competition on Sunday, February 5th. Congratulations to the Falcons and O’Neal’s talented teachers who guided them.

O’Neal artwork submittals included students of Judy Browne:  Sarah Massey, Zoey King, Molly Kuzma, Naomi Johnson, Timmy Edelman, Anna Henry, Vicky Mills, Abigail Gaughan, and Marshall Landry as well as students of Patty Amato: Reese Slusher, Julia Filby and Norah Shin. 
 
Four other schools participated – Sandhills Classical Christian School, Crains Creek, New Century Middle School, and Stars Charter School.  
 
Local artist Harry Neely judged the show.  It is hoped to be an annual event.
