Coffee and Conversation Slated for Thursday, August 3

Enrolled and inquiring families are invited to a "Coffee and Conversation" to meet Head of Upper School Matt Jacobs.

Thursday, August 3rd from 8:30am to 10:00am in O'Neal's Student Center of Meyer Hall Upper School, Head of Upper School Matt Jacobs will talk with families who may be in the decision process of enrolling their child in the Upper School as well as those families who are already enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year.  Families will also have an opportunity to tour the Upper School. 

Matt comes to O'Neal from Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, FL where he served as director of student life. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and received a Master of Arts degree in history from the University of New Hampshire. Currently he is in the process of earning his Master of Science in education from the University of New England. Matt began his teaching career as an intern at Woodberry Forest School and then served as teacher and department head at Bishop Guertin High School before Berkeley Prep.  He, his wife Bethany and their two children are excited to join the O’Neal community.
