Upper and Middle School students represent seven placed winners and five honorable mentions at this year's 22nd Annual Young People's Arts Festival. O'Neal grabbed 1st place in the Drawing category for both High School and Middle School sections.
The festival has also been awarding Schools each year for the past 3 years for "Best in Show". O'Neal won the Elementary School category for the second time with a monetary award of $150 to be allocated to the art program. The award is based on the overall collection of work and is selected by the same judge deciding the student awards. The goal of the award is to recognize teaching excellence and provide classroom funding for the teacher/school. Congratulations to Lower School Art Teachers Patty Amato and Beth Garrison!
