Art II Students Learn Stippling

Stippling is the creation of a pattern simulating varying degrees of solidity or shading by using small dots.  The denser the dots, the darker the apparent shade.  Art II students in Ms. Browne's class began this lesson by creating value scales with permanent markers.  Next, they practiced shading to create the look of three dimension in an object.  Students chose their own subject matter to create their designs.
