O'Neal Heritage Festival is April 17th!

Last year’s Heritage Festival was privileged to feature a photo booth where the backdrop was hand painted by Juan Rojas. Juan is from Nicaragua. He works on O’Neal’s maintenance team and he is the husband to Lower School Spanish Teacher Sarah Rojas. Juan and Sarah have participated in the Heritage Festival for the past few years with an exhibit highlighting Nicaragua. There you may have seen much of Juan’s artwork.

This year, with Juan and Sarah’s blessing, we are featuring his design on a t-shirt. The proceeds from the Heritage Festival shirts will help to underwrite expenses for the Festival. $12 for short-sleeve and $14 for long-sleeve orders can be taken now through April 9th. O’Neal families have the option of having them delivered on April 12th or you may opt to have the shirts shipped to your home. Order HERE.

The Festival is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17th from 5-7 in the Hannah Center Gym. If you are interested in participating by representing a heritage or country with a table exhibit or performance, please contact Kathy Taylor.
