Leadership Academy Surprises Middle School

O’Neal’s Leadership Academy was on their game with a surprise for the middle school basketball teams for their games against Fayetteville Academy on Wednesday. Middle School was invited to play in the Hannah Center – home of the varsity teams. Food trucks greeted attendees for special snacks during the games. Balloons and posters filled the gymnasium. The varsity cheerleaders dressed out to cheer on the fans. Leadership Academy members also built spirit with fun basketball tic tac toe during halftimes and in between games. The teams also got “the spotlight and music” when the starters were introduced.

All to make the middle school teams feel special and important, fun was had by everyone and hopefully the example set by the Leadership Academy will take root with middle school students and their desire to be a leader in O’Neal’s Upper School.
