Gearing Up for the Annual Heritage Festival

The O'Neal Annual Heritage Festival is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th from 5-7pm in the Hannah Center Gymnasium.

Many countries/heritages are represented as O'Neal families and Upper School student organizations join to showcase many cultures by way of activities, information and/or food. The whole school community is invited to attend and bring their friends!

Lower School students are issued a "passport" as they enter the festival. They can get their passport "stamped"  at each booth by participating in an activity or answering questions about the culture. When they've visited all of the booths and their passport is full, they can go to the refreshment stand for prize.

O'Neal International Club, Diversity Club and Music Club are helping to organize the event and have exciting plans instore.

If you would like to help with the planning and organization of the festival or if you and your family would like to showcase your heritage at the event, please contact Kathy Taylor, director of communications.
