Big Week for O'Neal Athletics

It has been a great week in sports!

Last Friday, the varsity girls basketball team won the Tri-TAC conference championship . They started the NCISAA state play-offs as the number 1 seed playing St. Thomas More last night at home defeating them 54-42. Tomorrow they play in the quarter finals against Friendship Christian at 3pm in the Hannah Center.

Monday, the Middle School Boys Basketball team defeated Berean Baptist in the SEMSAC championship at home with a nailing biting competition to the end. Also on Monday, the varsity swim team competed in the NCISAA championship tournament. The girls team placed 3rd. The boys team placed 9th. Alexis Coates managed to secure 2 1st place medals and she joined Natalie Williams, Haley Sager and Molly Kuzma to win a relay.
