O'Neal Announces New Head of Middle School

O’Neal is pleased to announce Miryah Walters as Head of Middle School beginning this school year. Previously, she served as O’Neal’s Middle School Dean and taught middle school math.
 
“All that Miryah has done in various roles at O’Neal has been extraordinary,” says Head of School John Elmore. “I am confident that she is the ideal candidate to lead our strong middle school.”
 
Miryah comes to O’Neal with excellent administrative skills having served as Director of Boarding for Hackley School in New York. In that role, Miryah was responsible for staff supervision and training, academic and social scheduling, budgeting, safety and discipline.
 
An independent, nationally accredited, college preparatory school for pre-kindergarten age 3 through grade 12, The O’Neal School is dedicated to the development of academic excellence, strength of character, and physical well-being of its students.
