O’Neal Announces Nick Bradley to Direct Traditions Golf Academy

O’Neal is excited to announce Nick Bradley as director of golf instruction and coaching for its new all-inclusive junior golf program – The Traditions Golf Academy.

“Nick stood out in a crowded field of talented applicants,” said Director of Athletics James Franklin. “He immediately catapults Traditions to the top of junior golf development in the world. His innovative approach to molding elite junior golfers will elevate our students to be top collegiate performers.”
During his 25-year career, Bradley has instructed over 200 PGA and European Tour golf professionals. He is a two-time best-selling author, a presenter, swing analyzer, and commentator for Sky Golf and NBC’s Golf Channel. Bradley is also the technical consultant and an owner in SQAIRZ golf shoes. Under Bradley’s direction, Traditions will provide individualized instruction to each student based on their current playing ability and their future goals. Traditions ensures a training program unique to junior development and NCAA collegiate golf preparation. Using the best technology available to measure, refine, and design student progress, the program will deliver one-on-one instruction with tour proven philosophies and experience.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have the ability to redefine the landscape of junior golf development,” says Bradley.  “There are skills you want to teach to an established player but sometimes can’t because of time restrictions and instructional history. This gives me the perfect vehicle to develop the best thinking, the best competing and the most technically proficient juniors globally. This will be a boutique hands-on experience for both parent and student athlete; this is as far away from a cookie cutter program as you can get”.
As Bradley emphasized, the Traditions Golf Academy is in a league all its own.  Traditions will marry three powerful forces: The O’Neal School’s college preparatory education, elite golf instruction, and access to Forest Creek, an exclusive private golf club in Pinehurst, NC, the “Home of American Golf.”

To complete this premier junior golf academy, O’Neal is proudly partnering with its neighbor, Forest Creek Golf Club. The School’s excellence in academic programs and location in Pinehurst, NC create the ideal environment for competitive junior golfers who aspire to compete at the college level for selective universities across the nation and abroad.

Enrollment applications are now being accepted for students in grades 8-12 in accordance with O’Neal’s admissions process for the 2021/2022 school year. Enrollment will be limited to no more than 20 students. Admitted students will attend O’Neal and meet all graduation requirements. Following the academic day, Coach Bradley and the junior golfers will be granted access to Forest Creek’s practice facilities and golf courses.
