"Unmasked" - written and performed by The O'Neal Players

The O’Neal Players have written and produced this year’s annual one-act play called “Unmasked”. This thirty-minute performance tells the story of five high school students who, despite their differences, come together as friends through the kind words and good advice of their friend, Hope. Along the way, a bit more is learned about each person, getting a glimpse behind the “masks” that each of us wear.  The play has both light and dark moments and a hopeful ending.  The cast members for “Unmasked” are Savannah Campbell, Mia Franco, Kevin Klenzak, Sahara Kokott, and Sadler Marshall. The play is directed by Theater Teacher Judy Osborne.

The North Carolina Theatre Conference (NCTC) holds a high school play festival annually around this time. As opposed to the normal competition structure, the NCTC is presenting a virtual showcase as its 2020 Highschool Play Festival. There will be no adjudication.

O’Neal will be sharing “Unmasked” at 6pm on November 9th to the O’Neal Community and on social media along with access to the other NCTC performances.
