The Contest

Fifth grade music students performed “The Contest” before their classmates on Wednesday, December 9th. The play was adapted from the story, “Horse and Toad”, as told in the book “The Magic Orange Tree”.

Script and music were written by Music Teacher David Lussier and his wife Heather Lussier. The students were responsible for the choreography, costumes, program, stage operations, props and more.

Next semester, these music students will switch places with their classmates who are now taking art.
Enjoy the show!
