Adopt a Senior Program Thrives

Our 38 senior buddies were first to greet O’Neal’s first and second graders on the first day of school, marking its 11th year. The Adopt-A-Senior program has become an honored tradition at The O’Neal School, where seniors are paired with 1st and 2nd grade students. Starting with seniors greeting their buddies with t-shirts and hugs on the first day of school, the buddies and seniors meet once a month throughout the school year for various activities.
