Middle School Battle of the Books Wins Regionals

Last Monday, O'Neal Middle School Battle of the Books team pulled off the regional win against four other divisional champs to be the Independent NC State team. There is more research to confirm, but this may mark the first time the MSBOB has achieved this level of competition. The team competed virtually against notable, high achieving schools: Davidson Day, Durham Academy and Asheville Christian. They will represent NC Independent Schools in the State BOB Competition on Friday, May 6th! Team members are: Nicholas Le, Hannah Wilcox, Abby Bager, Vivienne Rhue, Isla Riggsbee, Newnew Hong, Caitlyn Blocklinger and Sydney Chriscoe.
