  • The Hannah Marie Bradshaw Scholarship

The Hannah Marie Bradshaw Scholarship is given in memory of Hannah Marie Bradshaw, whose enthusiasm, curiosity, and spirit of friendship enhanced the character of her O’Neal class. She loved The O’Neal School as a positive place that helped her reach her true potential. The Hannah Marie Bradshaw Scholarship is a $6,000 scholarship given to a rising ninth grader who is not currently an O’Neal student and whose family demonstrates financial need. The scholarship is renewable each year through grade twelve as long as the student’s cumulative grade point average remains at 3.5 (B+) or greater.
  • The Helen Pringle Holmberg Scholarship (for currently enrolled students)

The Helen Pringle Holmberg Scholarship is given in honor of Helen Holmberg Herbert '97, an O’Neal graduate and the School’s first John Motley Morehead Scholarship recipient.  Current O’Neal eighth grade students who meet grade point average requirements and are nominated by O’Neal faculty are considered. This scholarship recognizes leadership, scholarship, moral force of character, and physical vigor. The scholarship covers 75% of tuition, renewable every year of Upper School as long as the scholar maintains a 3.5 grade point average.
  • How to Apply?

Applications for these two scholarships are highly competitive. Once fully enrolled, applicants must complete and submit a scholarship packet by March 15th. Packets are then reviewed and narrowed down to finalists who are invited to campus for an interview conducted by the Scholarship Committee. After interviews are completed, the Scholarship Committee will select one applicant for each scholarship.
