Lisa Gessner Releases New CD and Songbook

Lisa Gessner, music teacher for O’Neal’s Pre-K 3 and 4, kindergarten, and Middle School, had a very busy summer, as she completed work on her newly released CD and songbook: Fruit of the Spirit: Songs to Live By, for Children of All Ages.

Mrs. Gessner has written an original song which captures the essence of each “fruit” - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - along with a title song.  The CD will be released on iTunes this month, as well as internationally.

Mrs. Gessner is presenting her material at the NCAIS (North Carolina Association for Independent Schools) Conference in Raleigh in October and will also host a CD-release party on Friday, October 14th from 6-8 pm at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Southern Pines.  Co-producer, Paul Murphy will provide live music.  Refreshments will be served.  The O’Neal community is invited to drop by and celebrate!
