EPIC Quarterfinal WIN

After a bit of a slow start, the Falcon's pull away at the start of the second half to bring home to win in the EPIC Tournament Quarterfinals. The final score saw the Falcon's victorious over Trinity of Raleigh by the score of 40-20.
In a full team effort, sparked by their defense and rebounding, the Lady Falcon's put together a strong opening minutes of the 3rd quarter to pull away from Trinity for good. The Falcon's were led by Toyin Koleoso, who recorded another double double with 14 points and 18 rebounds. Joining her, Ralayah McRae returned to the starting line up tonight and added a big 6 points, and 3 steals for the Falcons. Calaen McHarney led the offense with precision and poise tonight dishing out 5 assists to go along with her 4 points. Joining the scoring frenzy were Madison Bullard (4 pnts), Juliana Grimm (4 pnts), Alana McRae (4 pnts), Maddie Tally (2 pnts), and Emma Furstein (2 pnts). Similarly, Rachel Patton sparked a fourth quarter surge with her defensive pressure and communication. All in all, the Lady Falcon's provided fans with plenty to cheer for on this Tuesday night. 

The victory moves the Lady Falcon's to 10-11,7-6 this season. They advance to the EPIC Tournament semifinals where they wil face Cary Christian. The game will be played on Thursday at 6pm at CCS.
