O’Neal Welcomes New Head of Middle School

Theresa Jespersen will be joining O’Neal as Head of Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year. Ms. Jespersen has been a part of the faculty at Holy Innocents Episcopal School (PreK3-12) in Atlanta, GA since 1995.  She has served as the Middle School principal while also continuing to teach history in the Upper School since 2007.  Over the course of her career, Ms. Jespersen has taught history in both middle and upper school settings. From her statement of Educational Philosophy she states, “It is important that we stay current with new ideas and trends and adapt new methods, yet still maintain sharp focus on student learning and achievement and academic integrity – and that with a wide field of vision.”  She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. O’Neal looks forward to having Teresa on campus starting in July.
