O'Neal Celebrates National Computer Science Week

National Computer Science week is December 7th-13th. As part of that week our 6th and 7th grade students will participate in the Hour of Code. Hour of Code is a global initiative to encourage students to explore Computer Science concepts. The Hour of Code is enjoyed in more than 180 countries with 65,000 events occurring in schools in 2020. This year O'Neal is excited to offer Computer Science Discoveries for our 6th and 7th grade students. CS Discoveries introduces foundational concepts in Computer Science. We hope to expand this program to include all MS students for the upcoming school year. Two O'Neal students were chosen for code.org's global campaign to highlight the Hour of Code and appear in their promotional video!
