Founders Day is Celebrated!

Last year O'Neal celebrated its 50 years. With that milestone every year after is a special occasion. Even with class trips, the School has made all efforts to recognize its significance.
Founders Day is officially September 7th. It was recognized with a great video in the middle and upper school advisories on Tuesday, September 6th prior to their departure for class trips on September 7th.

The Lower School kicked off the celebration also on Tuesday with a special assembly where Mrs. Adams told the students a few highlights of the School's history and explained the significance of the red bell that now stands outside of McMurray Hall Lower School. The assembly began with the Fight Song and it ended with the Alma Mater.  The Lower School also conducted a "Founders Day" bingo by classroom this week in celebration of Founders Day and the "foundation" of the School's essence -- community.
