Middle School Battle of the Books Team Wins District Competition

The Middle School Battle of the Books (MSBOB) team won the Greensboro Area District Competition at St. Pius X Catholic School on Wednesday, March 8th. Coached by Middle School Science Teacher and Library Technology Specialist, Tiffany Wood, O'Neal team members are Newnew Hong, Vivienne Rhue, Isla Riggsbee, Siri Mannava, and Adrian Rodriguez. In addition to O'Neal, the competing schools were The Burlington School, Greensboro Day School, St. Pius X Catholic School and Westchester Country Day School.  The event was a true competition all the way to the final round where O'Neal took the lead in points. 

The team moves on to the regional competition on March 31st at St. Raphael Catholic School in Raleigh.
