Earth Day Photography Winners Announced

Thanks to Upper School Science Teacher David Williamson, the inaugural O’Neal Earth Day Photography Contest was a huge success. Thinking that there would be just a few entries, he was surprised to have over 100 submittals.

Students were asked to submit photos that fell into one of the following categories:
  • Enjoying the Earth
  • Observing the Earth
  • Conserving the Earth
A winner was selected from each category and given a gift card.  There was also a grand prize winner whose photograph was printed and displayed at O’Neal.

John Kester (Kindergarten) won “Observing the Earth”, J.T. Erle (5th grade) won “Conserving the Earth”, and Chris Dymond (12th grade) won “Enjoying the Earth”.  Walker Bell (10th grade) was the grand prize winner.
