Third Grade Studies Rome

Third grade students researched and reported on the Ancient Roman Empire for 4 weeks prior to Spring Break. The students have read articles about Roman life for the rich and poor, warfare, and architecture. Students got to pick a topic they wanted to learn more about and do internet research. They wrote a research paper including facts they learned and created an artifact to share as the creative portion of their project. On presentation day the students got to share what they learned and presented what they made. The food was a big hit!
