Upper School Drive for Sandhills Coalition for Human Care

O'Neal Volunteers Organization (ONVO) invited Barrett Walker; director of the Sandhills Coalition for Human Care, to speak to the Upper School about the mission and service of The Coalition on Thursday. It was an effort to promote ONVO's Decorate the Tree with Warm Hands, and a Warm Heart. The mission of the drive is to collect and decorate the Upper School Holiday tree with hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and socks for children which will be donated to The Coalition.

After the presentation Upper School students returned to Meyer Hall for refreshments provided by the parents and opportunities to decorate the school tree with scarves, mittens, and hats that have been donated. The ONVO will continue to accept these items through Wednesday, December 12th.
