Science Olympiad Team Medals at States

O’Neal competed in four events at the NC State Science Olympiad Tournament on Saturday, Boomilever, Elastic Launch Glider, Roller Coaster and Anatomy and Physiology. This was the sixth year straight of six years competing that O’Neal had students participating at the State level. Seventh graders Lauren Kuhn and John Shepherd brought home medals and anatomy and physiology, placing 9th overall in NC in which over 220 teams competed statewide this year. Congratulations to John and Lauren along with 4 other competitors, 6th graders Jake Shepherd, Penn Morris, 7th grader Macy Cheek and 9th grader Kaleigh O’Leary for a job well done!
