Nikki Flores is Keynote Speaker

O'Neal is excited to have Nikki Flores, as its keynote speaker for the annual JV/Varsity Sports Recognition Ceremony on Monday. 

Nikki Flores played for the women’s basketball team at Marist College. A 4-year team member, she earned honors on the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2005 and rounded out her senior year by earning All-MAAC second team honors. Flores helped to lead the Foxes to four MAAC regular-season titles, three MAAC Tournament championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including the Sweet 16 her junior year. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in history and adolescent education.

Her coaching career began as first assistant and recruiting coordinator at Division II Holy Family University from 2009-2012, helping the team to three CACC regular-season championships from 2010-2012 and three berths to the NCAA Tournament. Flores then moved on to Colgate University to continue recruiting and assistant coaching. She helped lead the Raiders to one of their biggest RPI wins in program history and saw the team reach the semifinals in the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2007. Flores presently is in her sixth season as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at American University.
