Honoring Cindi Carr

After 35 years of teaching at The O’Neal School, Upper School Biology Teacher Cindi Carr is retiring! Almost every day this week, Ms. Carr was recognized. The “Welcome to the Falcon’s Nest” has been landscaped with help from the Acker Family and Proscapes Landscaping where a plaque has been posted in her honor. Monday night’s JV/varsity sports recognition ceremony announced this designation. The senior student-athletes also presented her with an award for consistently attending their sporting events. Wednesday, the seniors surprised Ms. Carr again by naming the Upper School parking area, "The Carr Lot".  O’Neal’s 2019 yearbook, “The Talon” was dedicated to Ms. Carr. She was surprised to see her family come to celebrate with her. Friday, Ms. Carr’s classroom was named in her honor by a generous donor.
