O'Neal wins MS Soccer Championship

David Williamson
O'Neal played a fantastic championship game to defeat St. John Paul 1-0 and repeat as SEMSAC Champions.  After O'Neal moved the ball into St. John Paul's half early in the game, Parker Anderson fought through two different challenges in front of the goal to give the Falcons the early lead, one that they would never relinquish.  The entire team was quick to 50-50 balls and held St. John Paul to mostly shots from distance.  Spencer Lincicome came up big in goal for O'Neal, confidently handling a dozen shots and helping to anchor O'Neal's defensive effort.  It was a great overall performance that showcased how hard the boys had worked this season and their terrific progress.
