Readers Workshop is Demonstrated

The Lower School invited parents to a Readers Workshop Showcase this week featuring grades 2-4. O’Neal has implemented Lucy Calkins’ Readers Workshop curriculum in recent years. It encourages student collaboration, ownership and reflection while allowing for seamless differentiation at all skill levels.  Regardless of where students are as readers, they are able to establish and achieve new goals for themselves.  There is always something to be celebrated and accomplished!
