The Arts Council of Moore County celebrates its 50th birthday this year. It has hosted the Young Peoples Fine Arts Festival for 27 years and O'Neal has been a strong participant for as long as the Festival has been in existence.

From their website: The Young People’s Fine Arts Festival (YPFAF) is the Arts Council’s opportunity to showcase the artistic talents of students in grades K-12 from all of Moore County’s public, private, charter, and home schools. Chosen by each school, all entries are exhibited at the Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House in March, which is “Art in Schools” Month
