Fall Athletics Service Project

Jen Hamner
O'Neal Athletics is committed to living out the core values of integrity and service—both on and off the field, court, and trails. This fall, Athletic Director Lance Stucky introduced a new initiative for Falcon student-athletes: completing a service project each season.
For the Fall Athletics Service Project, 50 Falcon student-athletes partnered with Friend to Friend, a local organization. Student-athletes spent the afternoon deep cleaning, doing yard work, and organizing, offering their time and energy to help maintain a welcoming and safe space.

The students-athletes worked with great enthusiasm, and the Friend to Friend team shared their gratitude and admiration for the work ethic and positive spirit our Falcons displayed.

This initiative is just the beginning. The athletic department looks forward to continuing these seasonal projects, finding meaningful ways for our athletes to give back and strengthen the community around them.
