The Aquatic Center at Taws Hall

On Tuesday, the Parents’ Association and Booster Club made a donation of $15,000 to O’Neal for the Aquatics Center at Taws Hall renovation project with revenue made from the Boosterthon held last October. This contribution comes after the Aquatic Center at Taws Hall renovation project was officially launched on Saturday at the School’s Annual Auction.

A “Fund a Need” item that closed up the live auction segment, Head of School John Elmore projected a rendering drawn by Middle School Art Teacher Judy Browne. He stated, “Take a moment to imagine walking into a gleaming, white tile atrium outside the pool with new locker rooms and facilities.  Then entering the pool space itself – bright and shining.  Finally, imagine these beautiful spaces filled with O’Neal children, their joyous voices, energy and laughter, and I think you can all see the unique and special gem we are planning for The Aquatic Center at Taws Hall.”

Two years of Holiday Gift Card revenue, the Boosterthon donation and the Fund a Need live auction item have raised $61,300 so far.
