Lower School Honors Kathy Nester on Her Retirement

Students at McMurray Hall Lower School surprised second grade teacher Kathy Nester on Thursday with a special addition to the Lower School landscaping in her honor.

On Thursday afternoon after the teachers flash mobbed the students with a special dance, they all walked around to the front of the school building. Standing in the front lawn was a sun dial with a special plaque commemorating Kathy Nester and her 31 years of teaching math. Mrs. Nester was quite surprised by the gift. Much appreciation goes to O'Neal parents Dr. Lynda Acker and Mrs. Christy Lineback for their assistance with installing the sun dial.
