Snacks with Seniors

Whitney Parker Winkley ’07 visited with seniors last week for the annual “Snacks with Seniors”. Whitney graduated from East Carolina University in communications and went to work with her mother Leann at WhitLauter in Southern Pines – purveyor, buyer and appraiser of fine and estate jewelry. Whitney talked about her journey through college and her decision to come back home to work and her interest in jewelry. She later became a gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. Whitney credits O’Neal with giving her the skills for building relationships and calling on people.

O’Neal presented graduation gifts of laundry bags to the Class of 2018.
