Youth Inline Hockey League Sign-Ups - Ages 5-18

YOUTH IN-LINE HOCKEY LEAGUE                                Ages 5 - 18
This League is for girls and boys to have FUN while learning the basic fundamentals and skills of inline hockey.  Four divisions will be offered: 5- 7, 8-10, 11-13, and 14 – 18 (18 year olds have to be currently enrolled in High School). Age will be determined as of January 1, 2015. Age divisions and days of the week may be modified depending on registration numbers. All games and practices will be held at the hockey rink at Rassie Wicker Park. Mandatory equipment includes a helmet with protective mask, elbow pads, kneepads, shin guards, mouthpiece, protective cup/pelvic protector, hockey gloves, hockey stick, and inline skates. Anyone interested in coaching should indicate so on the registration form and fill out a coach’s application. Registration is currently open and will close Friday, September 12 at 5pm. Mandatory Evaluation Day for All Players and Coaches will be held this season.
 
September 16: 5-7 year olds at 6pm; 11-13 year olds at 7pm.
September 18: 8-10 year olds at 6pm; 14-18 year olds at 7pm.
 
Days of the week planned for each age division are:
 
5-7 year olds: Tuesdays/Sundays starting September 28.
8-10 year olds: Wednesdays/Sundays starting September 28.
11-13 year olds: Tuesdays/Sundays starting September 28.
14-18 year olds: Thursdays starting September 25.
 
All age divisions will finish up by mid-November, weather permitting. Age divisions and days of the week may be modified.
 
The cost of the program is $20 Residents, $40 Non-Residents.
