Interview:
Q: What is your favorite part of the entire story of “The Little Mermaid”?
Charlotte: “I think “Kiss the Girl.” I love that song. It’s so fun!”
Caitlyn: “I just love Ariel’s journey throughout the show. As somebody who reads, it is very relatable; her wanting to escape to a world she never thought was possible.”
Q: Have you seen the show Live?
Charlotte: “No.”
Caitlyn: “I have! I saw it when Union Pines performed it many years ago and I really liked it.”
Q: Is there anything you want to say to the audience?
Charlotte: “I think this will be a very fun and immersive show!”
Caitlyn: “I just hope they enjoy it, and they get to enjoy all of the music and the fun sets. It’s going to be a really fun show to perform, and I hope it’s a fun one to watch.”
Q: Do you have ONE part you are most excited to practice or for the audience to see?
Charlotte: “A certain upper schooler, who is proficient in gymnastics, may make an appearance during the long dance break in “Under the Sea.” I’m very excited for that!”
Caitlyn: “I am very excited to see Charlotte be Chef Louis because she’s a senior! So, it’s going to be the most epic perforce in the show.”
