The Write Stuff

Writing Camp | July 21-25 12:00pm to 3:15pm - 4th-8th Grade

Do you have what it takes to create characters, put them in an interesting scenario, and bring it to a conclusion, leaving your readers wanting more? This Summer Camp Enrichment is perfect for the student with an interest in developing their skills in creative writing.
Every day we’ll work on aspects of creative writing ranging from characterization, plot development, creating conclusions and finding inspiration. Each day your writer will have the opportunity to write a short story that’s either completed or a solid work in progress.

The Write Stuff campers must bring a laptop daily.

The Write Stuff will be led by Craig Rogers. Mr. Rogers has been part of the O’Neal faculty since 2021 and currently teaches Pre-K4 in the Lower School. Prior to O’Neal, he was a successful columnist and author. His next two books are scheduled to be released this year.
