Week 1 - June 9th-13th - Nature Explorers
 
8:00am to 11:30am - 1st-2nd Grade
  • Problem-solving puzzles to “unlock” hidden treasures.
  • Nature scavenger hunts (collecting leaves and rocks for STEM analysis).
  • Rainbows in a Jar: Create colorful density experiments using liquids.
  • Leaf Art & Science: Identify leaves, learn their parts, and create leaf rubbings.
 
12:00pm to 3:15pm - 3rd-5th Grade
  • Engineering a model ecosystem (terrarium building).
  • Exploring renewable energy with solar ovens.
 
Week 2 - June 16th-20th - Adventure Quest
 
8:00am to 11:30am - 1st-2nd Grade
  • Make a Paper Mars Helicopter.
  • Design and test mini obstacle courses for toy cars.
  • Build and test rafts using corks and popsicle sticks.
 
12:00pm to 3:15pm - 3rd-5th Grade
  • Create and race balloon-powered cars.
  • Engineering a bridge strong enough for a toy adventurer to cross.
  • Designing and testing a mini catapult.
  • Solve engineering and math puzzles to “escape” the room.
 
Week 3 - June 23rd-27th - Around the World
 
8:00am to 11:30am - 1st-2nd Grade
  • Build and decorate paper rockets to “travel” to different countries.
  • Create geometric patterns inspired by global designs.
  • Design parachutes for mini figures.
 
12:00pm to 3:15pm - 3rd-5th Grade
  • Experimenting with weather simulations from around the world.
  • Use CoSPaces EDU, a VR program, to create a remote worldly location.
