June 19, 2020 Update:

May 27, 2020 Update:

Good Afternoon,
Our team is continuously working to ensure that we can offer a safe and fun Summer Camp Program for all of our campers this season. We wanted to share some new updates with all of you.
  • Our target start date for on-campus Summer Programs is June 15th, going through the end of July. We are still finalizing details on whether this will be a full-day vs a half-day option, but we are aiming for a full-day program.

  • At this time, to ensure that we limit contact between campers, we will not be able to offer an early drop-off or extended day program.

  • Because our spots are limited, we will be opening registrations to O'Neal families only. If your camper does not attend O'Neal, but you have already registered for Summer Camps, you will be given the opportunity to maintain your spot.

  • We are finalizing the number of spots that we have for each age group, and once we have those numbers, we will follow up with instructions on how to register for the O'Neal Summer Experience.
As always, every decision we make is for the safety and well-being of our employees and campers. Thank you for your understanding and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever.

May 21, 2020 Update:

Good Evening,

In our previous communications, we promised to share updates with you as we received them. Unfortunately this season we will not be able to offer in-person LEGO camps. If you had registered your camper for one of these camps this Summer, your registration will be canceled and your card will be refunded the full amount. Please note that there may be a slight delay with processing the bulk amount of registrations, and I will email you when yours has been processed.

The company that offers this camp, Play-Well Teknologies, will be offering a virtual style Lego camp that you can register for via their website. Their online camp options, as well as registration site, can be found here: https://schedule.play-well.org/class/list/county/Public%20%20Online%20Courses/county_id/435/type/class

May 14, 2020 Update:

Good Evening,
We hope that you and your families are all well. The Summer Fun team at The O'Neal School has been closely following all of the CDC and North Carolina government recommendations. We are excited that we can share the following updates with you. At this point, The O'Neal School is planning to offer a Summer program this year. We are choosing to call it "The O'Neal School Summer Experience" as it will differ significantly from our past Summer programs. We will be sharing more details of this new program early next week. Below, please find some recent updates:
  • If you signed up to pay in installments, we will not be charging your card on tomorrow's installment date of May 15, 2020.

  • Unfortunately, due to the government's guidelines, we can no longer offer swim lessons as an add-on to Summer camp. If you had signed your camper up for swim lessons after camp, those are being canceled and we are in the process of issuing full refunds. Our swim program is offering private lessons and you can reach out to them directly if you would like to sign up for that option.

  • If a camp that you have registered for ends up being canceled, you will be refunded 100% of what you paid for that camp.
Please know that every decision we make is weighed heavily as we choose what is best for the health and safety of our campers and instructors. We will continue to share updates with you as soon as we have them and we look forward to having a fun and safe Summer Experience with you!
As always, if you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact us.
